I. Project Background: How to pump water for irrigation in saline-alkali land and silty land?
The Binhai New Area of Weifang City, Shandong Province, has little arable land and abundant seawater, and has long been plagued by irrigation problems. Local farmers mainly rely on groundwater for irrigation, but the river water has a sediment content as high as 15%-20% (reaching 30% during the flood season ) . With abundant seawater and scarce freshwater, the available irrigation water is easily clogged by weeds and silt around the pipes, leading to repeated problems with traditional irrigation methods.
● Ordinary rubber hoses: They frequently collapse due to negative pressure during pumping, and the inner wall is prone to accumulating mud and sand, causing blockages. They will age and crack after being exposed to the sun for 3 months, and the annual replacement cost exceeds 80,000 yuan.
● Steel pipes: They are too heavy to move with the irrigation machine, and the joints are severely silted up. Maintenance requires stopping the machine to clean them, and each time takes more than 4 hours, affecting the water supply for fruit trees during the critical water demand period.

II. Customized Solutions: Three Core Design Elements for Pumping Scenarios
● This product features a durable, exposed rigid PVC spiral tube body that is lightweight and has low friction. The tube is 20% lighter, saving more than half the effort when moving or dragging it, while increasing pressure by more than 50% . The surface roughness Ra≤0.3μm reduces the amount of mud and sand adhering by 70%, and the wear resistance is only 0.4cm³/1.61km (far superior to the 1.2cm³/1.61km of ordinary PVC pipes) . It is suitable for rough environments such as the seaside, farms, and saline-alkali land.
● The outer layer is coated with UV stabilizers and carbon black stabilizers. It has passed the QUV 3000-hour aging test without cracking and is suitable for long-term strong sunlight environments.
It has excellent chemical corrosion resistance and weather resistance compared to steel wire hoses, making it an extremely flexible suction/drainage hose.
● This product has an inner pipe diameter of φ100 mm and a pipe wall thickness of 5.5 mm . It has embedded rigid PVC material reinforcing ribs for pressure bearing , forming a rigid support. It has good negative pressure resistance and does not collapse or deform when pumping water.

● The single length is 30 meters or 50 meters, it can be stored in a reel, and it can be moved flexibly by connecting to a water pump. The bending radius is only 200mm (1.8D), which is suitable for laying in complex terrain.
● Sand-containing water transport without blockage: Under working conditions with a sand content of 25%, it can continuously pump water for 72 hours without blockage, without the need to stop for cleaning, and its pumping efficiency is 60% higher than that of traditional rubber hoses;
● Lifespan extended by 6 times: from "replacing every 3 months" to more than 2 years. Pipes installed in the spring of 2024 only had 0.8mm of wear on the inner wall after being impacted by high sand content water during the flood season.
Precision water supply: When used in conjunction with a drip irrigation system, the leakage rate is reduced from 15% of traditional pipes to 1.2%, effectively reducing silt and weed blockages, saving 32m³ of water per acre , saving farmers time, effort and money.
Previously, irrigating 10 mu of land required replacing the pipes 3 times and clearing blockages 2 times. Now, we can just connect the pump and start pumping. The water pipes can be pulled freely and are not afraid of the sun. In the past, we had to replace the pipes every day, but now the people all say it's great !
